The hospital will deliver first-opinion, emergency and surgical care for pets across Hull and East Yorkshire. It will operate 24 hours a day for emergencies and include an on-site laboratory, X-ray and ultrasound facilities.
The purpose-designed site will support routine care, dentistry, surgery, inpatient care and emergency caseloads. Its diagnostic capability and wider clinical support will enable veterinary teams to investigate and manage a broad range of cases within the hospital.
“Hull is an important next step for Animal Trust,” said Owen Monie, founder of Animal Trust Vets. “We are investing in the facilities, equipment and clinical environment that veterinary teams need to practise medicine fully, while keeping care accessible for local pet owners.
“We want to build a team that puts animal welfare first, supports one another and takes pride in the quality of care they provide. The founding team will have a real opportunity to build something together that aims to serve as a community veterinary hub in Hull for the long term.”
