Charterhouse Capital Partners acquires animal health business
Charterhouse Capital has acquired Animalcare Group, an animal healthcare company, following its delisting from the London Stock Exchange (AIM).
Animalcare Group specialises in the development and commercialisation of products for pets, equine and production animals. The group holds around 150 animal health pharma brands, with core franchises in dental, equine and pain products with a strong presence throughout Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
Charterhouse will partner with chief executive Jennifer Winter and the existing management team to support Animalcare's continued investment in innovation, operational excellence and strategic M&A. Together, they aim to accelerate international expansion, strengthen the company’s product pipeline and deliver sustainable long-term growth.
