Pennard joins independent vet community

Pennard Vets has joined XLVets, a community of independently-owned veterinary practices, as its 71st member.

Founded in Sevenoaks, Kent in 1890, Pennard Vets operates eight practices across Kent and became employee-owned in 2021.

By joining XLVets, Pennard Vets will work alongside fellow independent practices from across the UK, sharing expertise, clinical insight and practical experience to support continual improvement in veterinary care.

Caroline Collins, veterinary surgeon and director at Pennard Vets, said: “We believe there is always more to learn from others in the profession. Being part of a community that actively encourages the exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise is incredibly valuable for our teams and ultimately for the pets we treat and their owners.”
