The Pet Vet partners with Optivet

Independent veterinary group The Pet Vet has partnered with ophthalmology provider Optivet Referrals.

The partnership will see Optivet Referrals deliver specialist ophthalmology services within The Pet Vet’s Waltham Forest surgery.

Previously pet owners have needed to travel to Optivet’s specialist hospital in Hampshire for advanced ophthalmology treatment.

The services will cover a wide range of ocular conditions, from routine medical management through to advanced surgical procedures.

Dr Mel Fuller, The Pet Vet chief executive, said: “This collaboration means owners can access specialist eye care for their pets in a more convenient, familiar setting, without compromising on clinical excellence. At The Pet Vet, we’re committed to continuously improving access to high-quality veterinary care, and this is a fantastic example of how collaboration with like-minded partners can benefit both pets and their owners.”
